MYOB Premier

MYOB Premier is the next step up from MYOB Accounting Plus in the MYOB accounting software family. MYOB Premier includes all the features that are found in MYOB Accounting Plus, but can work across a network, with multiple users. (When software is ‘multi-user’, it means that more than one person at once can work on your accounts at one time. Someone can be raising invoices, another person recording purchases, a bookkeeper can be reconciling the bank and a manager browsing through financials.)

The other differences between MYOB Premier and MYOB Accounting Plus include the ability to customise item price levels (in other words, have more than one price per item) and to define quantity breaks. MYOB Premier also offers full multi-currency features, so that you can buy or sell goods in dollars, euros, pesos or whatever.

MYOB Premier is only available as a Windows product, and is not available as a Macintosh product.

MYOB Premier features

Here's a few things that MYOB Premier does do:

  • It does everything that MYOB Accounting Plus can do (see MYOB Accounting Plus page for feature list) and also
  • Caters for multi-currency
  • Allows multiple users and works across a network
  • Allows for multiple pricing for items
And for a few of the things that MYOB Premier doesn't do:
  • It doesn't keep track of inventory in multiple locations

The price is around $1495, and includes a year's support and free upgrades.
