QuickBooks Accounting Plus

QuickBooks Accounting Plus is the next step up from QuickBooks Accounting in the QuickBooks accounting software family. QuickBooks Accounting Plus includes several key features in addition to QuickBooks Accounting, including inventory management, class tracking, and most importantly payroll.

Payroll is a must for any business that has four employees or more, simply because you’ll save so much time. No longer will you have to spend hours calculating tax, adding up super and working out holiday pay. Instead, entire pay runs take a matter or minutes, and you can print payment summaries at the click of a button. Class tracking is essential for most non-profit organisations, or for any business that needs to analyse the profitability of different cost centres. The budget features of QuickBooks Accounting Plus, when combined with the class tracking features, are sophisticated and versatile.

QuickBooks 2008/09 is part of the new QuickBooks QBi series, with a new home page design that makes navigating around the software very straightfoward. You get customisable desktop displays, adjustable columns on almost every window, personalised icon bars and enhanced form templates, making it easy for you to adapt QuickBooks to fit your own needs. 

QuickBooks Accounting Plus features

• Keeps track of revenue and expenses
• Produces a wide range of financial and business management reports
• Everything you need to do your end of year tax
• Calculates GST and prints out a Business Activity Statement
• Keeps track of inventory levels
•  Includes Google Desktop, making transaction searches and queries as easy as possible
• Lets you email invoices and supplier remittances

• It doesn't offer advanced inventory features, such as backordering or unit assemblies
• It doesn't offer foreign currency features
• It doesn't include advanced job costing analysis
• It doesn't allow for multiple users (more than one person working on your file at once)
